Double Dipping

Sometimes you can hit two or more different keywords with one web page because the two keywords are closely linked and can be easily worked into the same paragraph. For instance “George Bush Jokes” and “George Bush Humor” are very similar topics and writing an article where both phrases appear in each paragraph is not too difficult.

It is best to think of one keyword as your main target and the other as a secondary target. If you are having trouble working in both keywords then concentrate on your main keyword target and anything you get from the secondary target is a bonus. Your title and headings should also concentrate on the page's main keyword. Don't risk diluting your SEO content writing for one keyword in an attempt to double dip a second. A page well optimized for one keyword is worth more than a page partially optimized for two.

Choosing keywords for double dipping is an art and not a science but finding shortcuts and making the most of your content is the secret behind affordable SEO.
